E.ON España has a workforce of over 1,300 people and operates in the deregulated Generation and Commercialization markets in Spain as well as in the regulated energy Distribution markets.
E.ON Generación: has a farm with 4,600 MW of installed capacity at plants located in the communities of Andalucia, Aragon, Asturia, Cantabria, Castilla la Mancha, Castile and Leon and Catalonia.
E.ON Renovables: has attractive positions in Spain and Portugal in the fast-growing renewables market. The generation portfolio consists primarily of wind power and E.ON Renovables has numerous wind-farm projects under construction or in various stages of planning.
E.ON Distribución: distributes around 6.5 TWh to more than 660,000 customers located in the north of Spain. E.ON España’s distribution zones are: Cantabria, Galicia, zones in Asturia and zones in the north of Castile and Leon. E.ON Distribución has a 33,000 km network infrastructure to provide service to the aforementioned customer base.
E.ON Energía: handles the company’s commercial marketing, offering electric supply contracts throughout the entire peninsular territory.
